It arrived!

My first published greeting card arrived in the mail today.  Arrived just perfectly to brighten my day.   Most don’t know this about me, but I had a dream once to work for Hallmark.  Then I realized I didn’t want to move to Kansas or where ever their headquarters is.

Etsy Wednesday {felt food}

Me and my nieces would have eaten these up as kids, they are so fun.  Felt food deliciously made by mommy24cs . And for a long time I’ve wanted to get these play sugar cookies from nanacompany.  Sugar cookies have a special place in my heart, thanks to my grandma.

    Oh my goodness. Those are deliciously adorable. I can’t just imagine the tea parties we would have had…

    Oops, I mean “can”. Mom brain is on autopilot this morning.

A snap shot of right now

Right now Jack is in his swing (refusing to nap as usual).  The swing so generously given to us and that he’s just about outgrown.  We’re listening to Billy Holiday and it’s a sunny summer morning.  I’m going through folders of photos trying to catch up and do some editing. Also trying to straighten up…

    I just LOVE reading what you write about Jack – I can just tell how much you enjoy being a mom. Jack is such a lucky (and ridiculously cute) kid!
    Where the Wild Things are is our favorite children’s book – it was the inspiration for own little wild thing’s name!

another round of flower photos

I love this time of year,  been waiting all winter for it and now I have a huge folder full photos to go over. Now if only Jack would take longer naps.

    Hi Laurianne, I am Shauna’s friend Marianne. Just thought I would introduce myself and say hi. I’ve enjoyed your blog for ages now like a proper stalker. I’ve found a ton of fun sites through your links and really appreciate it. I also went to the Sweet Sadie show and got one of your apple blossom prints for my mom for Mothers day. She wanted me to pass on how much she loves it. Thanks!

    I also love the picture of Jack with his tongue out. That guy is just so darn cute!

    I love the second to the top shot! 🙂

  • Hey, I’m Bridget’s friend Stacey. I’m not sure if you remember me or not but she told me that you have a basement apt. that you might be looking to rent. If you are, we may be interested. Could you send me some more info. Where do you live? How many rooms? How much? Would we have to sign for a year, we are kind of looking for something a little more short term than a year so I’m just wondering about that. My e-mail is bsjwilson@gmail.com or staceynau@hotmail.com Thanks Lauri. I absolutely love your photography. I am also more than willing to help out with Jack when you need to go out and take pictures.
