It really is a coincidence, but another Etsy shop, MadisonReeceDesigns.etsy.com, has contacted me wanting to make necklace pendants with my photos too.  So here is the finished product!  And I’m thrilled that she picked a completely different set of photos than the other shop.

I’m holding back on posting any of the traditional photos the mother wanted, (I’ll save that for her) but I will show off the spunky spirit of this little girl.  Three year olds definitely have a mind of their own no matter what we tell them.

  • She is a bundle of cuteness, isn’t she? 🙂 I love the umbrella.

I’m thrilled to announce a partnership with Beads -N- Baubles 4U from Etsy who has made pendant jewelry with a handful of my Etsy prints. Her pendants are hand made and created using a 1 inch wooden square piece decoupaged and topped off with a coat of resin to provide a durable glossy finish.  Then packaged…

ooooh pretty! That’s a neat idea!

Along with doing my traditional color processing, I’m having fun with some nostalgia photos.  I love this one of Lucy with her mom in the setting sun light.  So precious! This is now my favorite place to take little clients.  We had so many options and the area was so peaceful.

Wow! You are amazing. What beautiful photos.

  • Hee! I can’t wipe the grin off my face. I love them so much! Especially the tutu one- I don’t remember her doing that sweet little hand-to-her-face thing. Love it! Thanks for taking her photos again, you’re awesome!

Hey Lauri! Congratulations on your sealing with Jack. I am so happy for you guys. Your photos look absolutely beautiful still. I especially love the new nostalgic look. Jack looks as fat and happy and cute as ever! Keep in touch!

I’m looking for some input from all you creative and fabulous people who take the time to visit my blog.Lately I’ve felt in a rut with my shoots, kind of doing the same thing, doing what’s safe, and I’m really wanting to get better and improve.  If you’ve done a session with another photographer, what…

Cute! I love the numbers one. I don’t really know anything about photography, but maybe you could expirement more with lighting? There’s this one photographer, Yousuf Karsh, who does some cool stuff with studio lighting so the portraits look more like renaissance paintings.

  • Squeeee! Of course, I’ve been checking obsessively to see if you’ve posted any. Love!!! Can’t wait to see the rest!
As for getting out of the rut-You should borrow the old camera I got off ebay to try some ttv photography. It’s pretty fun, and a quick way to give something a lot of character. More info here: http://www.russmorris.com/ttv

I wish I had great advice or an inspirational idea, but all I have is the more comfortable you can make yourself, the more comfortable they will be.

  • Well, I already think you are in the best of the best when it comes to photographers, and you know I have no advice to give because you’ve seen me try to use a camera. LOL. The big button takes the picture, right? Seriously though, you don’t realize how great you are.

From what I have seen, you do a great job! We are our worse critics. This photographer has some great ideas…www.haleyannwarner.com

  • i have been dying to respond to this post for a while now.. no time, no time. i just posted a new event late last night and i have that, “will they like it? will they like it?” anxiety. i would love to get together sometime and talk gear, technique, what inspires, what works, what doesn’t, photoshop! (i know nothing!), how to increase advertising, and how to perfect the finding of that ever important confidence that comes when you are taking photos of people who appreciate the things about photography that YOU love!
