The local ladies threw me a sweet baby shower filled with good food and good company.  Check out the fabulous table spread and the diaper cake!  I don’t dare take it apart.  The chocolate cake top was inspired by the birds adorning our nursery.     So cute! I’m telling you – juicing is the way to go. Every morning, Max and I (and sometimes Kevin) drink our ‘green juice’: spinach, celery, cucumber, parsley, apple, lemon, lime, and ginger. I think it’s good, but I was shocked that Max liked it too! I’m just not going to let him see this picture and get any ideas…

Photographing Childhood . Chalk drawing has a history with me, and I hope it will with Jack too.   As a child and pretend city planner, I designed whole towns on the huge driveway behind our house.  I tried to ride my bike along the mini roads.  Back then the chalk came from my dad’s sheet…

Found this photo the other day as I was going through my “Photo A  Day” folder for 2008.  I thought it would brighten my mom’s day.  Love you! Jack was 7 months old here.
