Those Bear Lake winds

When the mountains winds blow at Bear Lake, it can feel like you are at the ocean hearing the waves come in. Photography prints available here:  www.BearLakeArt.Etsy.com

It was sunny and the beach called to us

As family photography goes, few choose to have their pictures taken at North Beach.  Maybe because of the distance to get there, and the fee to use the park. But I think it is a beautiful setting.  Clear of beach grass, and on certain days, clear of people.  🙂

Spring in Bear Lake

I love to stand on the beach when the winds come down from the mountains.  Because of the waves, the water is extremely dangerous to be out on.   The roar is a reminder of our frailty, of the immense power of nature that demands our reverence.

North Beach in the spring

To celebrate our 4 year mark of living at Bear Lake, we went to the beach with our bikes, boots, and smiles. Surviving a winter at Bear Lake is something to celebrate.
