An update of what’s in my Etsy shop

I love. I like.

I love having a back porch to watch the rain roll in.  I love letting it fall on my feet.

I like worshiping with family.  I like seeing them serve.  I like hearing their testimonies of Christ.  I like that cousins can sit together in church.  I like sharing the gospel together.

I love the abundance of birds in our town.

I like that there’s not a lot of ways to spend money here.  Saving is easier.

I love walking in the mornings and finding pine cones; baby cones, daddy cones and mommy cones.  We welcome them to our house.

I like having an Etsy shop, and I’m humbled when someone loves my work.

Summer

(Lost post found.  I guess with all the moving I never got this live.  And now the summer is passing through.)

Thinking of summer and the fun we’re going to have this year.

I love water combined with sun.
I love getting a new pair of flip flops to wear every day.
I love new swim suits.

Lilac {Etsy Shop}

I love the softness and color of this photo recently found in my stash.  Photo taken on the back porch of my mom’s house.

Also added into my Etsy shop.

Wow, I’ve been away too long.  Partly because internet was down for three days.  Partly because I was getting ready for a yard sale.  And partly because I have the blues and don’t feel like doing much.  It’s the house blues, and realizing the prospects of us getting a house any year soon are pretty slim.  I’m wishing I could have a place to garden, a place to decorate, a place of inspiration and peace, and to feel like it’s my own.   Half my inspiration is boxed up in the garage.  I just want to create and beautify and a lot of it involves having a place that’s ours.  I guess a woman’s house is her castle, and I love all that involves making a house a home.  I don’t know why it’s effecting me so strongly.   I’d probably be able to blow it off easily if I could just get consistent sleep.

So on to something positive from last week.  I got my first custom tag order on Etsy, and it was a fun challenge to put together.  She wanted bright colors of green orange and yellow.  It looks much better in person.
