Happy Birthday bro {Utah County Family Photographer}

I’m so glad I could be there to party with you!

Luke I am your father

So, this is Jack’s light saber- or so he thinks.  But right now our vacuum extender is real enough f0r our young padawan to learn to swipe.

Not much to say

but it’s nap time.

and proof that Roswell gets rain.

and I ordered something fun for Jack’s room.  I’ll show pics when I get it up.

I’m counting down the days till my Utah trip.  I’ve got two shoots- and one is hopefully some baby twins.  :)  Other than that, I’m partying with my family who I miss so much.

Location scouting {New Mexico Child Photographer}

Aspen Road-

Found a quiet, tree filled street perfect for a willing family.  Although Jack wasn’t so willing.  About half my shots are of him running away from me.    Why can’t he understand that all I want him to do is just stand there and look at me!   I had to trick him here by asking “Where’s daddy?”  That at least got him to turn and look.  Oh, the tricks we use.

Jack in the box

This is a Jack in the box.

_mg_8739b-webWhat a sight we were all three of us cozy in a U-haul truck.  But we’re finally here (New Mexico) and feeling settled.  At least I can see the kitchen counters again, but hoping to get rid of the hallway full of empty boxes soon.  And the garage is a whole other pile of chaos.

_mg_8767webSo we escaped the boxes and clutter for some fun in the back yard. Part of our daily routine now sine we have a back yard! and the best patio.  Now the challenge is locating Jack’s bike buried in storage.  Happily, we’ll take advantage of the plentiful sunny days.

And on the brighter side of things-  Look what grows out along the sidewalk down from us.  Wild weed flowers to brighten my day.  I think yellow is my new favorite color.
