Life in Little Moments

A little bit of what we’ve been up to.
Jack has graduated to Big Boy as he’s given up his binky. And surprisingly it was pretty painless on my end. He only asked for it for two days. He’d repeat, “Where binkie go? I don’t know.”
.
And he asked…I couldn’t resist letting him wear my apron. He even danced around a bit. Perry’s so going to kill me.
We made cookies and watched Bang Bang.

.
He found the bumbella.

.
Today was a good day for Jack to mow the lawn in his new Big Boy pants. Potty training, here we come.

.
And sometimes he’s too busy to come in to eat and we have a box picnic.

.
And Scott, he’s pretty much this all day when he’s not eating or sleeping.

Yup! I’m selling my Canon EF 100mm f/2 USM lens. If you’re interested, just contact me and I’d be happy to answer any questions.
.
I’ve found that I just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it. I bought it because it had great reviews, and to take the place of my 85mm that broke. But since then, I’ve fixed the 85mm and the 100mm doesn’t seem to fit into my work flow. It’s an excellent lens.
Mine is scratch free, clean, excellent working condition, minimally used, and comes in original box, with a UV Haze filter. I bought it new. It’s never been dropped or refurbished.
I’m selling it for $380, and I’ll cover the shipping and insurance costs.
New on Amazon it’s $429
Thanks! and happy clicking!

Finding good light.
My sister in law has a new house with a sun room full of light. And I’m happy to share some test shots with Scott.
And although Scott couldn’t find anything to smile for, his mommy was full of them.

Anyone interested in the Roswell area, I am now available for Newborn sessions. Just contact me and we can discuss your options.

Welcome little one.
.
So far he’s adjusting well into our family. Just the other morning when I rose to pick him up, he brightened up with a smile to see me. Lifted my heart because he doesn’t give smiles much.
He’s grown enough to go 4 hours between nighttime feedings. Sometimes we’ve gotten by with 5 or 6 hours and that’s a treat. Just wish I wouldn’t wake up for no good reason while he’s still sleeping.
The poor kid doesn’t have his own room to nap in yet. During the day he sleeps on my bed. At night he sleeps in the living room. Thankfully Jack sleeps through the night and doesn’t hear the crying.|
He’s officially out of Newborn diapers, although size 1 feels big on him. And just this week I packed away the first outfits he’s finally outgrown. Hey, they lasted two months, that’s pretty good for a newborn. But it made me a little sad, because I don’t know if I should hang on to them for some future baby, or just pass them on to someone who could use them now, like my friend adopting a baby boy in a few weeks. Once again, the infertility heart strings get tugged. They haven’t been strummed in a while, and I wonder if this is my last time with a newborn. Back with just Jack, I knew without a doubt we’d be getting a second child somehow, some day. So I had no problem hanging onto everything Jack wore. But I’m not so certain now. Could we really be blessed with a third adoption?
