For my family.
I would imagine there are several of my nieces and nephews who haven’t seen pictures of their grandpa while he served in the Korean War. As military service goes, he had a pretty good job working as the company clerk in Germany. His nickname was Hank. They were the Aerial Photo Reproduction Company which flew all over Germany taking photos. My mom just found a box of the photos that dad brought home. Big 10×10 prints of castles and other prominent landmarks in Germany. And because the Major was LDS, my dad got to go with him on assignments all over Europe and Africa. Dad visited Holland, and Morocco, and a bunch of other places. He collected hats from where he traveled and I remember some Family Nights where dad would bring them out and tell us where each hat came from. My favorite was the red Moroccan Fez hat with a black tassel.
Here are some of the few photos I have. I’m proud of my dad and the years he spent serving our country.
