Sometimes I look at Scott’s newborn photos and wonder who is this baby? His face has changed so much.

I just can’t get enough of this hat that frames his face and pops those eyes. Simply adorable.

And my baby has a pearl, an Epstein Pearl. Do you see it on his gums? He’s had it for over a month that I’ve noticed and it should just go away soon. I had never heard of them before.
.
And Jack was getting antsy that I wasn’t paying him any attention, and kept getting in my face. What can I say, he use to be the target of my camera.

.
ah, I love your face, Jack.
Finally, Scott’s birth announcements are done and ordered, and I can’t wait to see them. Pearly finish and all. I tried not to obsess over which images to use, and just went with my gut feeling. But this image was always part of the plan, and I’m happy to share it here.
Here is a peak of one of the images I used. Welcoming our new little bird to the family.

And what’s fun is seeing the behind the scenes. I promise our baby was in no danger of injury as he was well attended. Bird bath was weighed down, baby was sound asleep lulled by a womb noise maker just under the pillow. Although we had an overcast day and I really needed the sun at this location, this shows how well my new lens, Canon EF 24-70mm 2.8L, holds up with a high ISO setting of 1600. I LOVE IT!
