When Heather asked me to do their family photos again, I knew exactly what I wanted to try with them, as they are a family that LOVES books. So to open our session I asked them to each bring their favorite childrens book. Max knows his by heart and recited the delightful phrases. Heather has great suggestions with books that she mentions on her blogs. I haven’t read “How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food?” Looks like I’ll have to check it out too!

I’m so happy that my Utah trip coincided with being able to get these family pictures done for some dear friends. I’ve known them since my college days, which now seems so long ago. I worked with their dad, and had lunch with their mom, back before any kids were in tow. Now we’re both building families of boys.
I found a quote the other day that I love.
It takes two boys to make one brother. Well this family has just welcomed their fourth brother.
Thank you! It was a pleasure spending the time with you.

Baby number 4 under the family portraits drawn by their talented dad.

I’ve wanted to take a family to the little downtown street of Pleasant Grove for some time now, and finally I had a willing family. But it helps that she’s my sister and also has ties to this little town. Here’s a sneak peak for you.

They made it easy, so easy. I said go out there and stand, and this is what I get. Love it!

I couldn't be more thrilled how these turned out for my sister. Escpecially as her two oldest are moving on to grow and become men a mom would proud of.
