I know it’s early, but I finished sewing Scott’s costume and couldn’t wait to picture him in it. He’s our little blue bird.
It’s one of the Martha Stewart Baby Bird Costumes that I first fell in love with in 2o02. Sigh… I mourn that her Baby Magazine didn’t last very long. I treasure each one.

Beautiful !
Ohmygosh! How flippin’ adorable! My favorite is the one with the binky! I can’t wait to see the little blue bird in person. 🙂 I think I turned out even better than the Martha Stewart one!
love your blog!! you have beautiful boys, and this costume is perfect!
Wow! Beautiful photography, baby, and costume. I was actually google searching for tips on Martha’s bluebird costume since directions are so vague, just wondering if you have any tips.
I would completely agree! I read the directions over and over and over. After I had the pattern drawn and cut, there’s a three in slit, that helps in lining up all the pieces. I ignored the Velcro part, and just used elastic to hold the wings on each arm. I used hot glue and sewing to hold it all together. So far so good.
