"Don't look in the closet,
or under the beds,
or in any mysterious nook
Where things may be hidden-
It's simply forbidden
when Christmas is coming-
Don't look!"
I have to confess to my mom. One Christmas, I looked.
Or quite possible it was an accidental find, but a deliberate investigation. And I was of High School age too!
I think around 15 or 16 and happened to notice a green, styl'n leather jacket in the spare closet among all the other cloths. A leather jacket that was so cool to own and that I'd desperately wanted for years. And because I wanted to be different than everyone who had a brown leather jacket, I chose forest green. The color of the early 90s.
And to top the outfit, I even had forest green sued boots, and forest green jeans that I so fashionable wore all together! What a sight, and I'm sad I couldn't find a picture.
That, and the big hair bows I sported are my most embarrassing fashion ensembles of the 90s. At least I had gotten rid of the hair claw in junior high. few!!
That's me on the right, the one with the camera case, also green.
If only you could hear how loud I am laughing right now. LOL! That jacket is pretty sweet, I also love all of the plaid in the picture. The 90’s were so cool, haha. The funny thing is, whatever you wore Brittany I wanted to wear too. You ALWAYS knew what was cool! Even when you had those bangs, hahaha.
That jacket was pretty sweet.
Thanks Greg, the fact that you remembered makes me chuckle.
