Roswell House stories

What I see around town.

.

I love the crooked porch, and the blocked off stairs, and yard sale chairs framing the door, contrasted by the Beware of Dog sign.  All that’s missing is a shotgun.

If you love texture, Roswell is the place to visit.

Every time I pass this house I imagine that my niece would love to live there.  I couldn’t get a better photo of the place, but oh to have land and large trees.

I love looking at old houses and wondering what they were like in their prime, right after they were built, and what went on inside of them. (Blame the writer in me! Old houses are just so great — so much more personality than the stucco, cookie cutter ones you see everywhere here. Houses just aren’t made like they used to be and I think it’s sad.
