Before the baby, I never use to go to bed before 8:00pm.
I never use to miss breakfast.
I never use to see things that aren’t there. It’s the weirdest feeling to be awaken by my baby’s cry and honestly see and believe he’s right there on our covers. I’ve even gone so far as to try and pick him up.
I never use to sleep walk.
I never use to be so scatterbrained.
I never use to forget what I was doing two hours ago.
I never use to watch so little TV. (Which isn’t a bad idea I guess.)
I never had anything test my strength so much.
but I never had a chubby fingered, bright eyed baby to share my day with. And that’s how I’d rather it be.
so so so true. i LOVE this post. so happy for your little bundle of joy… and exhaustion and wonderful sleepless nights. your pictures are delicious~ i love seeing your blog!
Beautiful post Lauri. I can so relate. Congratulations on your little one. They are true blessings. I have twin four-year-olds yet I still clearly remember everything you write about in this post. Lovely blog.
