Although, what's not cute, is his bed time behavior. What use to be a smooth transaction, has now turned into an hour protest.
We go through the usual bed time routine-
and lights out.
Instead of calmly going to sleep, he jabbers, babbles, throws out his binky, the backup binky that I stash in the crib corner, and his puppy. But not his magic blanket, that always stays with him. And yes it has magical powers and melts Jack into a snuggle bug at sight.
So, when Jack's protests escalate to baby hysteria, I go in, find his binky on the floor and try to calm him again.
And the cycle happens all over again. I'm starting to wonder if Jack knows if he throws his binky out and wails about it, I'll eventually come in to be with him.
He's got me trained.
Jack is side stepping all over with the help of furniture.
He is very brave and just launches off to take a few steps by himself.
Each day he seems to walk a little more and have more balance, although he's still just taking a few steps at a time.
He has 4 molars now in. Glad that teething part is over for a bit. Till the next round.
Still no words from Jack, but tones of babbling. He seems to have his own language and hasn't figures out mine.
I bought him a pair of size 7 shoes last week since 5 is getting tight.
He laughed at the TV watching Laura Engles deck Nellie Olson. He is all boy.
And coming soon- some newborn shots.
