Little Jack and I went walking

I don't know how it happened, but my little baby has grown so much in just a week.  He's now easily pulling himself up to standing and so proud of himself.

His other adorable quirk is making little bombing noises as he plays and moves around.
  Pquow! Pquow!
Is that stuff programed in?  It's so funny,

We took another walk up the canyon last week, this place was full of pines and smelled wonderful like magic.  We were the only ones there and it wasn't until I was packing up the truck that I realized I could have freaked out with a "Blair Witch" moment.  So glad I didn't. Bad, bad movie!

Instead I just want to imagine it being my Lothlorien forest.

I've decided that it's in my back's best interest if Jack learns to walk sooner than later.  Most babies his weight are 2 and running around!  I would love for him to start carrying his own weight before my disc gets injured further.

I know you want to say it-  "Oh those apple round cheeks!"

Oh, and the photo I've been dying to capture.  The moment when Jack falls asleep while sitting in his crib._MG_2005

Good heavenly day, he is adorable! And yes, regardless of what the baby weighs, it’s SO nice when they walk. My back thanks my son daily. 🙂

Lauriann, The pictures are so adorable!! Jack is a real prize. His little chubby face is just precious and it is so fun to see how much joy he brings you.

What a precious boy! He looks about the same age as my babe Audrey. She’s one and is still not walking yet either.
You are an amazing photographer! I love the shot where Jack is with his daddy [I’m assuming.] Looking down and his chubby cheeks look so round. How do you not sit all day and kiss on them?

These pics are too quit – isn’t it funny how one minute they can’t do something then next they are doing it? It’s amazing how they develop and do things when they are ready. So glad for your backs sake – I have commented to Dana how your arms must be really buff carrying Jack around – I know mine have beefed up a little with Landan and he’s tiny compared to Jack. We are trying to teach Landan to roll from his tummy to his back – he hates it but my cousins baby rolled over at 2 weeks and Landan’s almost 4 months!
