I use this blog to chronicle my life and work. If I had to describe my work. I’d say it’s an artistic expression of the day.
I started early being that artistic kid- painting smiles on butterflies, writing my name on everything, and chalking whole towns on the driveway.
Summers were filled with creating puppet shows, scouring ‘How to Draw’ books, or designing doll clothes.
So of course my mother enrolled me in art classes. All of which, eventually drew me to watercolor painting and loving it! (thanks to my Junior High art teacher).
I studied Illustration at Brigham Young University and earned my BFA, all while finding my soul mate.
But it wasn’t until after college and the digital age took hold that I found my true artistic expression in photography.
Now I have an Etsy shop where I feature my personal work. It’s full of vivid color and simple compositions.
I mostly shoot flowers- I’ve always been drawn to photographing flowers. So these prints are special to me.
It is pure pleasure for me to be a baby and child photographer. To capture their early moments in life, the one’s parents never want to forget.
And now that I am a parent myself, I understand more clearly that these moments pass too quickly.
